In 2016 we opened our own full service on site optical lab to make our own products! Other places often ship your glasses out to have them made which is often directed by your insurance company. At Allegheny Vision we can make them on site saving time and money! But that’s not were it stops, with our own lab, we can design and manufacture optical products custom for you and your needs. We no longer use a middle man, so we can manage quality control unlike other opticals.

Not everything is created equal! Our optical lab can generate a custom digital prograssive with a much wider field of view in minutes! Need a lens designed for night time driving or blocking the blue rays from the computer screen? We’ll make those for you too. A lens that changes in the sun? We’ve got you covered there too!

While other opticals are waiting for the mail to deliver your glasses to them we could have already made them for you!
